Policies for Publishing in the Proceedings of the West Virginia Academy of Science

Volume 1: Abstract Issue

Abstract for all papers (i.e., contributed papers and invited papers) to be offered at an Annual Meeting will be published as the first number of the proceedings volume for that year just prior to the meeting. The editors reserve the right to reject any abstract deemed unsuitable. Instructions for abstract preparation will be sent to members prior to each Annual Meeting or can be obtained from the president or with the meeting information on this Web site.

Volumes 2: Reports

Full scientific reports of any research presented at an Annual Meeting of the Academy, may be submitted for publication at any time.

Instructions for authors can be found on the WVAS Web site and in previous volumes of the Proceedings. At the Annual Meeting, manuscripts can be given to the editor, President-elect, or session chair. The Academy will publish only selected papers, after peer reviews, of outstanding quality.
