How Do I Know If My Computer Is Network Ready?

Make sure your computer has an Ethernet Network Interface Card (NIC).  This would be the case if you have had your computer connected to a cable modem, DSL service provider, or were connected in one of the residence halls in previous years.

If your computer does not have an Ethernet Network Interface Card (NIC) you will need to purchase one.  Network cards and cables and available for purchase at the Service Desk on the 4th floor of the Drinko Library.
