Samantha is purifying and sequencing mitochondrial DNA from Blacknosed 
Dace, a common minnow is West Virginia.  She is analyzing DNA from 
three watersheds, the Potomac River, Monongahela and the Kanawha River 
to determine how closely related the fish are in these streams.  It is 
possible that one group now considered a species may be a hybrid 
between two other species.
