An important part of the Kanawha Valley community, the South Charleston campus serves Marshall students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The South Charleston campus is home to several important divisions of the university and more than 35 faculty members have their offices here as well.

• Graduate School of Management (including the Executive Master of Business Administration)
• Graduate Admissions
• Associate Vice President for Outreach and Continuing Studies
• Robert C. Byrd Institute for Advanced Flexible Manufacturing

In addition, the South Charleston campus has representation from the College of Information Technology and Engineering, the Office of University Communications, the Library, and University Computing Services.

An extensive collection of art is part of the South Charleston campus, the work of more than 30 West Virginia artists. It includes media as diverse as as oils, photography, quilt, woodcuts, glass, and porcelain, as well as others.
