Core II classes must be 100- or 200- level.

In order to have a course included on the Core II list, the dean of the college in which the course is taught will need to ask the dean of the college that has purview over that part of Core II (listed below) to have the course included:

• College of Liberal Arts: Composition, Communications, Humanities, or Social Science
• College of Science: Math and Natural/Physical Science
• College of Fine Art: Fine Arts

That dean (of CoLA, CoS, or CoFA) will then need to send an email to the registrar and to the GEC (gened@marshall.edu) notifying us. Please include the course’s title, course number, and which Core II category it will fulfill (e.g., “Social Sciences” or “Fine Arts”).
