Author Guidelines and Submission Procedures
Collaborative Anthropologies, a peer-reviewed journal, encourages submissions that engage the growing and ever-widening discussion of collaborative research and practice in anthropology and in closely related fields. (See the front page for specific areas of emphasis.)
Works must be original and not previously published. Manuscripts should be submitted in English and prepared according to the Chicago Manual of Style (following the author-date documentation system, which employs parenthetical text citations and a reference list), with one-inch margins, double-spaced, and no more than 14,000 words. Each submission must also include an abstract 150-200 words in length.
Send submissions to the Editorial Office. Email submissions (in Word, WordPerfect, or compatible RTF) are encouraged, though hard copies will be accepted (when mailing, send four copies). Please contact the Editorial Office with any questions.
Book/Media/Exhibit Reviews
