Marshall University International Festival
The 49th Annual International Festival will be held at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington, West Virginia on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 6PM to 9PM. The annual exposition features international foods, world music and dance and displays representing many different countries and cultures. The festival is open to the public and is free of charge to enter.
This year’s festival is being sponsored by FoodFair Supermarkets and their 14 stores serving the local Tri-State community.
Cabell County Schools and Mountwest Community and Technical College are partnering with Marshall University to expand the festival and provide a memorable experience for all ages, but particularly for children and their families.
The Tri-State’s best international restaurants will be featured at this year’s International Festival. Each restaurant will offer tastings of their signature menu items. By purchasing food tickets, guests can sample a variety of foods from all over the world at a very affordable price.
