In May 2012, the College of Liberal Arts Department of Political Science in conjunction with HEPC Consortium for Internationalizing Higher Education, launched a freshman study abroad trip to Quebec, Canada. It was started from May 2009 and offered the opportunity to freshman students for a fourth year in a row. Marshall University, West Virginia State University and West Virginia University coordinate the program.
