Seven faculty members from College of Liberal Arts, College of Fine Arts and College of Business were selected to teach abroad during Summer 2013 . They will teach in Chile, Spain, France, Italy, Turkey, Canada, and Austria through the Kentucky Institute for International Studies (KIIS) Consortium. Marshall University joined KIIS in September 2011. KIIS is a non-profit consortium of colleges and universities that sponsors summer and semester study abroad programs in over 20 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, Canada, and Latin America. Marshall professors also have the opportunity to serve as program directors or faculty teaching KIIS courses abroad. Seven Marshall students studied in KIIS programs during Summer 2012.
