The 2012 Miners’ Celebration Conference on October 4, 2012 at the Tamarack (www.tamarackwv.com) in Beckley, WV is being presented by Marshall University-CEGAS; the WV Coal Association; the WV Department of Energy, Office of Coalfields Community Development; the National Coal Heritage Area; the United Mineworkers of America; and Strategic Solutions LLC. Previous Miners Celebration Conferences were held in 2009 and 2010.
The past, present and future of the mining industry depends upon thousands of individuals in key roles who contribute significantly to each ton of coal produced. We refer to this as its “enterprise ecosystem”. It is because of them AND YOU that the mining industry is the success it is today. Join us in celebrating the contributions that are being made, have been made and will be made to West Virginia’s mining enterprise ecosystem.
