August 23 & 24th/Week of Welcome (WOW) Diversity Workshops for Freshmen
BUS Fridays 1st & 4th/ The Black United Students Social Club will host “BUS Fridays” in the Center for African American Students Office. This informal social experience, with light foods/refreshment will provide students an opportunity to relax and unwind, perhaps hear spoken word, discuss challenging issues, catch up on the news, story-telling and other experiences in thee company of peers. EVERY 1st & 4thFridays from 12-2 p.m.Bring your friends!
September 21/ Morning Hour and Greeting with the Honorable Rudy Coleman. Marshall Alum and Former Appellate Court Judge. Location: Center for African American Students, Memorial Student Center at 10 a.m. Sponsored by the Black United Students Social Club.
September 30/ Worship Together at First Baptist Church 11 a.m. Morning Service at 801 6th Ave., Downtown Huntington. Transportation Available: 304 523 1712
October 17/ “Life is a Sequence of….What’s Your Story.” An exhilarating workshop where students explore their personal identities through a series of exercises to include physical movements, discussion, writing and visualization. Directed by Mitzi Sinnot, Award Winning Actress and Arts Director. All Students are Welcome. The More the Merrier!! BE-5 Multipurpose Room, Memorial Student Center, 7 p.m. Please arrive on time to join in.
